TA600 Active Vibration Isolation Platform

The TA600 platform is compact, with a built-in honeycomb core structure, high-precision voice coil actuators, Hall-effect sensors and transducers plus a control module, but highly efficient in vibration damping. This platform can be used on any bench top or table to provide vibration isolation in all six degrees of freedom. This platform is suitable for small optical equipment only.

What is the functional damping principle?

  • MCI’s TA600 platform consists of a honeycomb core structure, high-precision voice coil actuators, Hall-effect sensors, high-precision signal filters and a high-speed control system

  • A total of eight acceleration transducers detect vibration signals from the environment in all six degrees of freedom

  • The filters then amplify these signals and send them to the controller

  • The voice coil actuators will then be activated to provide an exact counter force to damp the vibrations
